A man had to be rescued from the first floor of a building with a narrow staircase in Chatteris last night (Wednesday October 23).
One fire crew from the town was called to Bridge Street at 4.51pm to assist ambulance colleagues with the difficult extrication.
They used a MIB stretcher to safely rescue the casualty who was left with the ambulance crew.
We have approached the ambulance service for comment.
