A 63-year-old man was attacked and left unconscious in March at the weekend.
Police were called to Nene Parade at about 2.30pm on Saturday November 11.
Cambridgeshire Constabulary have since identified a man they wanted to speak to in connection with the assault.
Officers are also keen to speak to a woman who was riding a bicycle in the area at the time of the assault.
