A driver was taken to hospital with serious injuries last night (Thursday, November 30) after their car was involved in a crash with a van.
Cambridgeshire Police were called at 5:30pm with reports of a collision between a car and a van on Ireton’s Way, between Chatteris and Mepal.
A spokesperson for Cambridgeshire Constabulary said: “Emergency services attended and the road was closed while recovery took place.
“The driver of the car was taken to hospital with serious injuries.
“No arrests made.”
