An uninsured and untaxed van that had been evading police for several weeks was finally seized in a Fenland village yesterday (Thursday February 29).
Officers recovered the vehicle in Doddington during the afternoon.
A spokesperson for Cambridgeshire Constabulary said: “The unregistered van had been avoiding the Rural Crime Action Team around the Fens for a couple of weeks.
“Unluckily for the driver, persistence paid off and now we've seized it.
“It'll be auctioned or crushed in 14 days.”
