Cambridgeshire Fire and Rescue Service are set to host a series of "Older Driver Workshops" from March - May.

The workshops are designed for anyone who is aged 65 and over and is still driving.

At the workshops, the team at Cambridgeshire Fire and Rescue Service will talk about how the challenges of driving as you get older, as well as how to make sure we all stay safe on the roads.

Some of the topics that will be discussed in the sessions include:

- Age-related changes when driving

- Eyesight and driving

- Conducting a vehicle check

- License renewal

- Signs to be aware of

- Alternatives to driving

There won't be any supervised drives during the two hour sessions, but they will be interactive and have plenty of activities and refreshments.

The workshops can fit around 15 people in, and Cambridgeshire Fire and Rescue Service is advising people to book on now to avoid disappointment.

Yaxley Fire Station: Wednesday April 17 - 1pm until 3pm

Sawston Fire Station: Tuesday April 23 – 1pm until 3pm

Sutton Fire Station: Wednesday May 1 - 10am until 12pm

Ramsey Fire Station: Thursday May 9 - 1pm until 3pm

Sawtry Fire Station: Tuesday May 14 - 1pm until 3pm

Cambridge Fire Station: Wednesday 15 May - 1pm until 3pm

Stanground Fire Station: Monday May 20 - 1pm until 3pm
