Firefighters at Wisbech and Chatteris Stations have awarded their King's Coronation Medals.

Anyone who had completed five full calendar years of service on May 6, 2023 (the day of the King's Coronation), including colleagues who have retired or resigned, qualified for a medal.

Cambridgeshire Fire and Rescue Service teams across the county have received their medals for all of their hard work.

The medals feature both King Charles III and Queen Camilla. 

They were awarded to serving members of the Armed Forces, frontline emergency workers and publicly employed prison services personnel who had served five full calendar years of service on the day of the King's Coronation.

They were also awarded to individual's who contributed to the Coronation and living individual recipients of the George Cross or Victoria Cross.
