An arcade in March town centre was damaged overnight.

Tap That, in Dartford Road, had the glass in its front door smashed at around 3.45am today (Tuesday April 16).

Simon Plitsch, owner, said: "Whoever broke in tried to get into one of the machines.

"But they were only inside for a minute and then gone."

He added that, having watched neighbouring CCTV footage, those responsible had their faces covered.

"I'd rather everyone be a little bit more mindful and vigilant."

A Cambridgeshire Constabulary spokesperson said: "An incident of criminal damage was reported to us this morning.

"A crime has been raised and investigations are ongoing."
