Residents of Chatteris paid their respects on the 80th anniversary of D-Day last night.

They gathered outside the town's parish church ahead of a performance from the community choir.

After singing songs including Land Of Hope and Glory, and the National Anthem, Reverend Wendy Thomson led a prayer and blessing.

The beacon was then lit by a local councillor to mark the occasion.
