Wildlife Trust event at Skylark Garden Centre in half term

The Wildlife Trust will host the event on February 21.

Activities will include making wooden cookie decorations, nature painting, collages, clay wildlife figures, and bird feeders.

All items made will be taken home to decorate or help the birds.

Go Wild at Skylark Garden this February Half Term (Image: Skylark Garden Centre) A nature walk and winter scavenger hunt will also take place, and adults attending will receive a free tea or coffee from Café Skylark.

Edward Gowler, owner of Skylark, said: “We are so happy to work with the trust again this year…they do such good work to help the wildlife especially in our region.

"We know they will deliver an excellent event that week, it will be great fun for all those who attend.”

The Wildlife Trust said it will be the first time the event will be solely run by the charity, meaning hundreds of pounds will be donated to their cause.

The money will go towards the Great Fen Project, a large fen landscape between Peterborough and Huntingdon.
