A 'sinkhole' in a Fenland town has been repaired - less than a day after it was first reported.
The hole in Elwyn Road, March, was discovered by local residents yesterday morning (Tuesday June 17).
However, by this morning (Wednesday June 17), it had been covered over.

One local resident said: "This is very quick work!"
Ahead of the repairs, a spokesperson for Cambridgeshire County Council said: "We have been made aware of a hole in the footpath on Elwyn Road, March.
"Our highways team has attended the site, and we will make the area safe until a permanent repair can be made.”
