For the men of Chatteris caught in that storm — from the blood-soaked beaches of Singapore to the harsh railway camps in Thailand — the war didn’t end quietly.
Some never returned. Some were lost at sea as prisoners-of-war. Others rest forever beneath foreign soil, their names etched on memorials thousands of miles from home.
This tribute shines a light on their stories, ensuring that Chatteris doesn’t forget the journey they took nor the price they paid.
