Young people in Cambridgeshire receiving their A-Level and other results today (Thursday, August 14) have been praised for their hard work and dedication.
Cllr Edna Murphy, chair of Cambridgeshire County Council’s Children and Young People Committee said: “I know how much hard work has been put in over the last two years, and that hard work has been very much reflected in this latest set of A Level results.
“I’ve been inspired and moved by the commitment and resilience shown by our young people. They should be feeling incredibly proud, as should the teachers and families who have supported them along the way and made it all possible by encouraging every young person to achieve their best.
“I’d like to wish all our young people the very best in the next stage of their lives.”
