With country music having become one of the most popular genres of music over the past few years, the appetite for such events in the UK continues to grow.
Enter Rockin The Country, a family-friendly festival in the heart of the Fens that enjoyed a successful debut in 2024 and returned over the weekend.
With the sun beaming down on Horse Creek Farm in Coldham Bank, on the edge of March, the organisers couldn’t have wished for better weather on Saturday September 5.
And, as some attendees had travelled from as far as Yorkshire and Scotland, they really dressed for the occasion.
In fact, anyone not wearing a cowboy hat or donning cowboy boots looked out of place.
Seconds away, the Indoor Arena hosted live music; with a packed programme including headliner The Lainey Wilson Experience, bands and artists also played on Friday night for those camping.

For those who dared, there was also the chance to try out a rodeo bull.
Meanwhile, at the Outdoor Arena, western riding demonstrations and barrel races thrilled a large crowd of families (many of whom attended with their dogs).
Spread across the site, there was also a funfair, several bars, food stalls including US diner Shirlz, axe throwing, archery, Western shopping and a wide range of fashion traders,
Considering the success of festivals like C2C, Black Deer, Red Rooster and The Long Road that have been running for far longer, there's no denying that the team behind Rockin The Country are really onto something.
A celebration of all things country and Western, there was plenty to see and do for those of all ages - and helped to put a little known corner of Cambridgeshire on the national music map.
