The team at a Fenland-based company is celebrating after a achieving a double win at a national event.
Knowles Logistics in Wimblington took home two of the most coveted titles in the industry - 'business excellence' and 'sustainable transport' - at this year's Motor Transport Awards.
With its turnover having grown from £23 million to £75 million since 2018, the company is also on its journey to net-zero warehousing by 2030 and transport by 2045.
Earlier this year, they added an electric 19-tonne Renault truck to its fleet and now operate what is believed to be the largest number of electric trucks in the sector—nearly 10 per cent of the fleet.

The facility also has 150 kW fast chargers, solar-powered warehousing, electric MHE covering 80 per cent of internal operations, rainwater harvesting, and sustainable materials sourcing.
Managing director Alex Knowles said: “Winning both awards is a profound testament to the strength and spirit of our team and operation.
“It shows that building a strong business whilst pursuing a strong environmental agenda is not just the right thing to do, but together they drive success."
