A new report published this week analyses the average house prices across the country and splits them down into every local authority, including Fenland.
The Office for National Statistics and Land Registry have released the figures which look at the average (median) house prices as of the year-end March 2025.
They show that Wisbech North ward is the cheapest place to buy a house in the whole of Fenland, with an average price of £180,000.
At the top end of the scale are the villages of Doddington, Wimblington, and Manea, which come in at £110,000 more expensive than Wisbech North, with an average price of £290,000.
The second cheapest place to buy a home in Fenland is also in Wisbech.
The average house price in Wisbech South and Peckover is £195,000.
However, as you move out of Wisbech into the villages of Leverington, Gorefield, and Tydd St Giles, prices start to rise, with the average house price in this area coming in at £235,000.
March East and Chatteris are comparatively cheaper than many of the other areas of Fenland.

Coming in at £215,000 and £229,500, respectively. March North is also at the lower end of the market at £221,000.
Whittlesey is the second most expensive place to live according to the ONS figures, with the average property costing £254,998.
Wisbech St Mary, Waldersea, and Christchurch, come a close third as the most expensive with homes costing an average of £250,000.
March West, Coates, Benwick, and Pondersbridge, have an average house price of £245,000.
But while Manea, Doddington, and Wimblington, are head and shoulders more expensive than other areas of Fenland, there is some good news for home buyers.
The average price of a home has dropped £7,500, since December last year - the biggest drop of any of the areas in Fenland.
The average price also dropped in March North - £4,000, Coates, Benwick, and Pondersbridge, saw prices fall by £5,000 compared to last Christmas.
But everywhere else saw the average price of a home rise.
The biggest increase was in Wisbech St Mary, Waldersea, and Christchurch, which saw prices go up by £10,000 compared to December last year.
Elsewhere, prices rose by between £4,000 and £5,000. Wisbech North may be the cheapest place to buy a property, but prices are going up, according to the figures, which showed an increase of £5,000 for the area since December.
Chatteris had a rise of £4,500, and Leverington, Gorefield, and Tydd St Giles, were up £5,000.
Some places saw no change to the average price, including March West and March East.
House prices in neighbouring East Cambridgeshire still remain on average higher than Fenland, with the cheapest average price coming in at £267,500, and the most expensive £430,000.
Huntingdonshire is also a more expensive place to live with prices ranging from £240,000 up to £476,000, while in Peterborough, an average home costs between £155,000 and £375,000.
There is a difference of almost £300,000 between the cheapest homes (£150,000) in King's Lynn and West Norfolk and the most expensive (£540,000).
