A long-established car dealership in a Fenland town appears to have closed without warning, leaving customers confused and disgruntled.
Both the sales and service department of Pilgrims of March, in Melbourne Avenue, were seemingly closed without explanation on November 24.
Customers reported finding gates padlocked and alleged the site was empty when arriving for pre-arranged appointments.
One customer, who posted anonymously, said: "I had my car booked in today and got down there at 08:30 to find the gates padlocked and no sign of any staff.
Local Ben Clarke added: "I went and test drove a truck last Saturday, rang up Monday morning hoping to put a deposit down to later find out on Wednesday they had closed indefinitely."

The sudden closure of the Ford dealership has sparked concern among locals and comes after the dealership celebrated its 40th anniversary earlier this year.
Despite repeated requests by the Cambs Times, Pilgrims has yet to provide an official statement addressing the situation.
Suppliers' familiar with the firm told Car Dealer Magazine they believed the company had entered voluntary receivership last week.
Court listings could support this claim, with the firm lodging a notice of intention to appoint an administrator on November 24.
Ford has also been approached for comment.
