Local MP Steve Barclay is urging parents of children at a March school to have their say as Ofsted prepares to carry out an inspection.

Posting on his Facebook page this evening, the North East Cambridgeshire MP warned parents they have just a matter of hours to give their opinion on the school to the Government's education watchdog.

He said: "Calling all Neale-Wade parents – your voice matters!

"Ofsted will inspect Neale-Wade Academy on January 13, 2026. This is a crucial opportunity to help make the school the best it can be.

"Your feedback will influence how the school is judged and where the attention of the Active Learning Academy Trust that runs the school is focused.

"Please take a few minutes to complete the Ofsted Parent View survey: https://parentview.ofsted.gov.uk "

The survey asks about teaching, progress, behaviour, and more.

You can also add your own comments.

The Ofsted letter is dated today (Monday) and gives a deadline of 11am tomorrow.

Mr Barclay adds: "Please don’t let the short notice deter you from responding and take a few minutes tonight or tomorrow morning to do so.

"This will help shape Ofsted’s work and their subsequent report, and help ensure the voice of parents is heard. Thank you for playing your part."
