Whittlesey Explorer Scouts are fundraising to attend the World Scout Jamboree in Poland.
The four children—Lily Jakes, Sam Wood, Iris Tordoff and Lucas Tilley—are working to raise £13,960 to take part in the 2027 event, which brings together 50,000 Scouts aged 14 to 17 from around the world.
Their campaign has been boosted by a £150 donation from the Fenland branch of The Oddfellows, a friendship organisation.
Tony Britton, from The Oddfellows’ Fenland branch in Manea, said: "They're so looking forward to being part of a 50,000-strong contingent of Scouts from round the world who will be gathering at Gdansk in Poland next year for this huge event.
"The Oddfellows want to back their faith in the future and hope they enjoy themselves."
Sam Wood, 15, said: "We're very pleased for this financial support from Fenland Oddfellows, who in fact also supported us when we sent two Scouts to the last WSJ in South Korea.
"We have now launched our individual fundraisers to get us to Gdasnk."
