A metal gate manufacturer has been hit with an improvement notice from a government body.
Fenland Metalica Limited, which trades as Artistic Metalica, was served the notice by the Health and Safety Executive (HSE).
It follows reports of an "offence" at its premises on Thorby Avenue, in March.
According to its website, the firm manufactures "high-quality" residential, farming and commercial automated gates.
The notice states the company "failed to put into place a suitable and sufficient health and safety management system throughout your company."
It added it had "therefore failed to ensure the health and safety of your employees and other persons who may be affected by your company’s operations."
According to the HSE, the company breached the Health and Safety at Work Act 1974 and Management of Health and Safety at Work Regulations.
Fenland Metalica Limited has until June 30 to comply with the requirements of the notice.
