Sushinoya Cambridge giving away 100 free sushi boxes

Sushinoya, an Omakase to-go concept, welcomed its first customers today (Friday May 8), and is celebrating the launch by giving away 100 free sushi boxes to the first 100 customers.

The offer will begin at 11am, with the store - which is the company's first site outside of London - opening at 10.30am.

Dong Hyun Kim, founder of Sushinoya, said: "Cambridge has a curious, discerning food scene — students, commuters, tourists, locals all looking for something better than the usual grab-and-go.

"We’re here to show that quality and convenience don’t have to be a trade-off.

"Every box is cut from whole fish that morning, by chefs who take real pride in the craft."

Located in Lion Yard, Sushinoya brings a chef-led, grab-and-go sushi experience to the city centre.

All sushi is prepared fresh on-site by chefs using whole fish delivered each morning.

The menu features a range of options, from sashimi and nigiri sets to hot bento bowls, salads, onigiri, and signature rolls.

The opening day giveaway includes a choice of six signature sets, such as the sunrise salmon set, prawn club set, and plant me up set.

In addition to the sushi box giveaway, the store will offer exclusive deals, surprise offers, and a launch competition through its social media channels.

The menu also includes desserts like bingsu shared ice, bubble tea, and matcha latte, with options catering to halal, vegan, and gluten-free diets.
