Search the Public Notice PortalDozens of new affordable homes are set to take shape in a Fenland village as work gets underway on a housing scheme.
Located in Wyatt Court, Wimblington, the 45-home development is being delivered by BFL, a partnership of Bromford, Flagship, and LiveWest.
Tony Tann, managing director of Flagship Homes, said: "There's real demand for affordable family housing in this part of Cambridgeshire, and that’s why we’re building Wyatt Court.
"I’m pleased about the size of the homes we’re delivering in a village where a lot of families want to live.
"The project means new homes for people who need them, and more life in a community that already has a lot going for it."
Of the 45 homes, 32 will be available for affordable rent to those on the housing register, and 13 will be sold through shared ownership.
The mix includes 12 three-bedroom and three four-bedroom houses.
Seagate Homes, based in East Anglia, is the principal contractor for the scheme.

"As an East Anglia-based housebuilder, it’s important to us that we help create high-quality homes that meet the needs of local communities.

Initial groundworks are already underway.
The first homes are expected to be completed by January 2027, with the full development set for completion by summer 2027.
The site is named after Thomas Henry Wyatt, the Victorian architect who designed St Peter’s Church in Wimblington.
Wyatt Court is part-funded by Homes England through the Affordable Homes Programme.
