A Fenland smokehouse and grill has announced it will be closing for good.
Black Rock Grill & Smokehouse in March said in a social media statement that they will be closing at the end of July.
The restaurant is part of the Three Lions Sports Bar.
The statement reads: "Due to several issues beyond our control and rising costs we have no other choice.
"Please come and see us before we close.
"Lastly, we want to say thank you to all our amazing and loyal customers, we will never forget you."
The news comes after the bar announced it would stay open in 2025 despite fears that it would close.
Claire and Daniel Smethurst opened the Three Lions in 2021 with a traditional pub menu but found competing with big chain pubs difficult.
The pair then opened the Black Rock Grill and Smokehouse in 2022, offering customers a range of homemade burgers and steak dishes sourced from a local butcher.
In a statement posted on Facebook on December 24, 2024, the Black Rock Grill and Smokehouse confirmed it would remain open despite initial fears over rising energy costs and "off the scale" wholesale prices.
However, 18 months later, Black Rock Grill & Smokehouse on 106 High Street in March is due to close for good.
