A runner has completed his first 100km ultra-marathon along the North Yorkshire coastline.
Sándor Molnár, a member of March Athletic Club, took part in the North Yorkshire Ultra Challenge on Saturday, June 20, finishing the race in 17 hours, 58 minutes, and 24 seconds.
He placed 39th overall.
Mr Molnár said: "I’m using this opportunity to raise money for MAGPAS Air Ambulance, an incredible charity that provides lifesaving emergency care across our region.
"Last year alone, MAGPAS crews attended numerous incidents in March and the surrounding areas, bringing advanced critical care directly to those who needed it most.
"Their work can mean the difference between life and death, and they rely heavily on donations to keep going.
"Thank you for being part of the journey and for supporting such a vital cause.
"Every donation, no matter the size, makes a real difference."
The race began and ended in Scarborough, taking runners through Robin Hood’s Bay, Whitby, the Esk Valley, and the North York Moors before returning along the Tabular Hills Walk.

It is Mr Molnár’s longest endurance event to date.
He previously completed his first marathon and a 40-mile ultra-marathon in 2025.
Mr Molnár set the goal of running the full 100km distance to raise funds for MAGPAS Air Ambulance, a charity that delivers emergency medical care across the region.
He has raised more than £300 so far.
Despite an injury-disrupted training plan, he finished the event and described the final stretch as particularly gruelling.
He lost 10 places over the last 12km.
