A popular Fenland pasta takeaway has announced it will be closing, leaving the owners “absolutely gutted”.
Pasta Moré, which delivers to Chatteris, Manea, Doddington and Wimblington, confirmed its final days of trading will be from Wednesday, July 15 to Friday, July 17.
Owners Holly Orridge and Tom Rack said in a statement to social media: "This is the last post we ever wanted to write.
"We are absolutely gutted.
"The support you’ve shown us has honestly blown us away and something we’d never ever ever take for granted."
The business opened in October and quickly gained a loyal following, frequently selling out of its fresh pasta dishes.
While the owners described the venture as a “success,” they explained that the long hours, running two businesses, and the challenges of operating without a dedicated commercial kitchen made it unsustainable.
The pair also mentioned that their recent inconsistent opening hours were due to ongoing efforts to find a solution.
They explained: "We’ve been trying everything we possibly could to make it work."

Despite their decision to close, Holly and Tom said they believe the business still has potential and would welcome interest from anyone who wishes to take it over.
They said: "With all that said, because we genuinely believe in what we’ve built, if there’s anyone who would be interested in taking Pasta Moré on (recipes, website, training, van and all) we’d absolutely love to have that conversation because although it’s something we can’t sustain at the moment, it is set up to be a fantastic business, and something we’d love to see thrive in the right hands."
In the meantime, the pair hope for a busy final few days of trading.
They said: "If you’ve been meaning to come and try us, or you’ve been saying, 'We’ll come next week,' this is your last chance.
"From the bottom of our hearts, thank you.
"Thank you for every order, every recommendation, every lovely review, every message and every bit of support you’ve shown our little pasta dream."
"We’ll miss it more than you’ll ever know."
