The community banded together on Saturday for a yard sale to raise funds for the village hall.
In total, 29 homes across Christchurch took part in the sale, raising £200 towards kitting out the kitchen at the hall.
Organiser Sandra Kay was thrilled with how the sale unfolded.
She said: “It went very well. People came from all around to support the sale. Everybody made a bit of money and £200 was raised towards the village hall.”
