£760 donation from Whittlesey Manor Bowls Club helps Magpas in run up to Christmas

Whittlesey Manor Bowls Club has made a donation to Magpas totalling £760 to aid the emergency medical charity.

Melvyn Beck, club secretary, said: “Most of the money came from the annual Peter Bavister Memorial tournament, which has raised around £3,500 for charitable causes over the past five years.”

There was also a £100 donation from the Peterborough & District Bowls League awarded to the charity.
