GETTING fit, raising money and seeing the local heritage - three reasons why volunteers signed up for a 'memory walk' in aid of the Fenland and Marshland branch of Alzheimer's Society.
So successful was event, around Doddington, that already another is planned as well as numerous other activities around the Fens to raise awareness of the society's work.
The event was part of an 'awareness week' effort and other events planned include a tandem skydive from 13000 feet to raise funds for the branch.
