THE A1101 is closed this afternoon south of Wisbech after a two-vehicle collision.
The collision happened at about 11.45am near Emneth. One of the vehicles involved left the road and entered a ditch.
Two people were initially reported to be trapped in the car which left the road, but by the time emergency crews arrived one person had managed to get out.
Firefighters removed the other occupant, a man, from the car. He is being treated by paramedics for leg and chest injuries.
The A1101 is closed while police investigate the collision and clear the wreckages.
