The A47 is closed in both directions between the A141 March junction at Guyhirn junction and B1167 at Thorney due to a serious accident.
Police have urged motorists to find alternative routes.
The road remains closed following a serious two vehicle collision between a van and a lorry.
The collision took place on the roundabout at Fen Road,
Westbound traffic should take the A141 then the A605 through Whittlesey.
