The A47 was closed in both directions at Thorney Toll for almost two hours yesterday because of fallen power cables.
The cables came down when an articulated lorry smashed in to a utility pole after leaving the road shortly after 2pm.
The incident occurred on the A47 Wisbech Road between B1167 (New Cut) and A141 (Guyhirn).
The cables were cleared and the road was re-opened at 3.40pm.
