THE A605 in Whittlesey is closed because King’s Dyke level crossing has failed.
Police were called at 2pm by British Transport Police after the gates at the crossing became stuck.
A spokesman said: “Police are at the scene and diversions are in place (via Pondersbridge). Engineers are also there trying to fix the gates.”
Officers are currently diverting traffic away from the A605 via Pondersbridge.
