Services provided by Fenland District Council have been described as “excellent” by an independent assessor.
Customer Service Excellence (CSE) assessor Neil Pontentier carried out an inspection of the council last month, and said that it continued to meet the requirements of CSE, a national standard that recognises public bodies that provide high quality services.
Mr Pontentier praised the council’s staff, saying they are “the key to Fenland’s ongoing ability to maintain and exceed satisfaction levels.”
The staff, customers and partners he met during the council’s inspection “confirmed Fenland’s ability to give above and beyond service levels” to the community in Fenland.
FDC chief executive, Paul Medd, said: “Fenland is one of the few councils that have consistently achieved this rigorous standard for all of its services, both customer-facing and internal.”
