GENEROUS fund raisers from the Three Holes Acorn Club handed over cheques totalling more than £2,000 at their annual meeting.

A largest cheque, for £1420.00, was presented to Sister Becky Wilding from Upwell Health Centre to help fund palliative care nursing.

The second cheque was for £585.00, and was handed over to Sue Lowe, the chairman of Three Holes Village Hall Committee, for help pay for repairs to the building following an arson attack in January.

Following the cheque presentations, supper was served by the members and the committee for 2013 was elected.
