AN air ambulance was called out to help a Chatteris woman who suffered a serious knee injury after slipping in her kitchen at home yesterday evening.
The Magpas Helimedix team was called out to the A141 near Warboys just before 6pm, to meet an ambulance crew who had requested assistance on their way to hospital.
The woman, in her 30’s, was sedated by the Magpas Helimedix team to reduce her dislocated knee cap. She was then taken to Hinchingbrooke Hospital at Huntingdon in a land ambulance. On arrival she was in a stable and more comfortable condition.
