An air ambulance was called to the motocross track at Doddington near March yesterday after an 11 year-old boy fell from a motocross bike.
Magpas Helimedix arrived just after 2.30pm and worked alongside the East Anglian ambulance service to assess the young patient and provide him with pain relief.
A Magpas spokesman said: “Fortunately the boy did not suffer any serious injuries. “He was then taken to Peterborough City Hospital in a land ambulance (in a non-life threatening condition).”
Dr Nick Scott and paramedic Keiran Bromley were on board the Magpas helicopter which was flown by pilot Craig Redman and crew member George Philips.
