An air ambulance landed in Chatteris this afternoon after a man – in his 70s- suffered a heart attack.
Magpas Helimedix arrived at 12.05pm following a request from the East of England ambulance trust.
A Magpas spokesman said: “Our team anaesthetised the patient and provided enhanced critical care, before accompanying the man in a land ambulance, to Hinchingbrooke Hospital, monitoring his condition all the way. On arrival at the hospital, the patient was in a serious condition.”
