A man collapsed and died in St John’s Chase, March, today from a suspected cardiac arrest.
An East Anglian air ambulance was called to the scene but the man, in his 70s, was pronounced dead at the scene.
An air ambulance spokesman said the crew on board was Chris Sherriff (pilot) with Dr Monojit Choudhury and a critical care paramedic, Jemma Varela, on board. They worked with EEAST and police colleagues to treat the man.
“Despite the best efforts of all those on scene, unfortunately nothing could be done to help this patient.
“Our thoughts are with their family and friends at this difficult time.”
