Albert wins March Camera Club natural history prize for butterfly photograph

Albert Horton won March Camera Club’s annual natural history competition for this picture he titled Wall Brown Butterfly.

Mr Horton took home the Roy Tomkins Memorial Trophy after last Thursday’s competition, judged by Ray Kimberley of Swavesey Camera Club.

Joint runners-up were Allan Howe, club chairman, for a colour image of a cormorant taking flight, and Mel Harris, for a colour print of a grey heron.

Mr Howe thanked Mr Kimberley for judging the competition and complimented him on his knowledge of the various subjects.
