A FENLAND firm said a fond farewell to two employees days before moving to a new home in Wisbech.
Brenda Kemball had worked for Pike Textiles in Wisbech for 25-and-a-half years before retiring on Friday. Colleague Carol Fuller had worked alongside her for 21-and-a-half years.
The loyal duo were presented with baskets of flowers and gifts from Sylvia and Andrew Pike, Jon Allen, Pike’s Managing Director, as well as cards and gifts from their work colleagues.
It was the last presentation to be held at the company’s North End site as Pikes moved, after 38 years, to its new location at Sandall Road on Monday.
They are also transferring their operation at Pinnacle House, Wisbech, to their new site. Pike moved from March to Wisbech in 1973.
