Pupils from the All Saints Inter-Church Academy are gearing up for their Christmas productions – one from Key Stage One (KS1) and another from Key Stage Two (KS2).
The KS1 pupils are performing ‘A King is Born’ - a traditional nativity story being told by a mum to her children on Christmas Eve.
Miss Baumber, assistant head, said: “Snuggle up and listen as the story comes to life telling the miraculous events of the first Christmas.”
The KS2 pupils are telling a slightly different show ‘Bethlehem the Musical’ – the story explains how busy Bethlehem was at the time of the birth of Jesus and how many people were able to come and see the arrival of the new king.
Miss Baumber added: “Six classes of KS2 pupils worked very hard learning dances, songs and lines to perform a wonderful show – it is colourful, energetic and full of smiles from everyone involved.”
