CELEBRATING their 70th birthdays this year are these boys and girls of the former March Hereward School, who held a reunion evening at the town's Conservative Club.
They were overjoyed to see more than 50 people turn up - double the number at last year's reunion. A special cake with the Hereward School badge on was made to mark the occasion. People made a real effort to make it travelling in from as far as Ipswich, Leicester and Norwich.
Betty Laws, who helped to organise the event said:?"Everyone really enjoyed themselves.
"Some of the boys who turned up for the first time didn't realise how much fun we had." A few said they would bring along more of the old boys with them to next year's reunion.
