Forty-five people were reported each week last year for not wearing a seatbelt in Cambridgeshire.
In total, 2,383 people were caught without one on - putting their and other passengers’ lives in danger.
Throughout September, officers across Cambridgeshire have been targeting those who don’t wear seatbelts.
Those caught not using the life-saving device have been fined up to £500.
