PODE Hole Farm near Thorney hosted the nation’s favourite Geordie duo Ant and Dec when they filmed a new advertising campaign for Morrisons’ supermarket
The advert is currently being shown on TV, and farm owner Charles Horrell can be seen strolling through a field as Ant and Dec are given a tour of the farm by Morrisons’ in store butcher Antony Ward.
Mr Horrell said: “We’re proud to supply Morrisons’ customers with quality British beef and have being doing so for a number of years. It’s a real honour for our farm to be selected for the filming of the new advert, and I’m still not quite used to seeing myself when I switch on the TV!”
Ant and Dec said: “We had great fun filming these adverts and meeting the specialists at Morrisons. We’ve learnt that there’s lots going on behind the scenes at this supermarket.
“We really do have the utmost respect for the staff who worked with us and the years of training that goes in to knowing your mackerel from your mullet.”
