A COMMUNITY archive group, set up by Cambridgeshire County Council, is launched in Chatteris today (Friday).
Chatteris Community Archive, part of the Cambridgeshire Community Archive Network, is based at the town's Library and Museum.
It is made up of 10 voluntary members, who are collecting photographs to put on to a computer archive so people can look at what Chatteris was once like.
Club member Bill Haggata said: "We are looking for some more older, historic photographs but also modern photographs to include the whole of the community on it."
Anyone who wishes to contribute to the Chatteris Community Archive should take their pictures to either Chatteris Library or Chatteris Museum, where they will be scanned.
