Two arrested following theft on Chatteris industrial estate

Two people were arrested after police were alerted to a theft taking place in Chatteris last night (May 2).

A Police Dog Unit attended the scene on the Honeysome Industrial estate just after 11pm and found two people hiding in the hedge.

In a post on the Policing March and Chatteris Facebook page, it stated: “Two persons were arrested on suspicion of theft from the site and were taken to the Police Investigation Centre at Kings Lynn.

“Enquiries have been ongoing throughout the day.”

An NPAS Helicopter also attended the area for a search.
