A Land Rover was deliberately set alight in Christchurch near March on Saturday night.
One fire crew from March was called to tackle the blaze in Upwell Road shortly after 9pm.
The vehicle was well alight and two firefighters wearing breathing apparatus used two hose reels to extinguish it.
Crews returned to their stations by 10pm.
A fire service spokesman said: “The cause of the fire is believed to be deliberate.” Anyone with information should contact the police on 101 or the independent charity Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555111
