MARCH man Cat Stevens admitted breaching his ASBO this week, by consuming alcohol in St John's Church cemetery.

Stevens, 42, of St Peter's Road, was given an anti-social behaviour order in December last year by North East Suffolk magistrates.

The ASBO bans him from drinking in a public place, buying drink from premises with an on-licence, and engaging in threatening, abusive or insulting words or behaviour.

Stevens appeared before Fenland magistrates on Tuesday, when the court imposed one day's detention, but released him immediately because he had been held in custody.
