ATHLETIC youngsters at Burrowmoor Primary School competed in various events at a sports day.
Middle and Upper school pupils took part in long distance and sprint running races, a sack race, long jump event and throwing challenges as youngsters proudly wore their team colours for the day.
Vikings (yellow), Normans (green), Danes (blue) and Saxons (red) enjoyed the day with children cheering on their team mates throughout the event.
The school’s sports day for its foundation stage and Lower school children will take part today.
