A bakery’s raffle and Santa’s Grotto raised £400 for two causes.
The Old Bakery Tearoom and Restaurant on Market Hill in Chatteris has donated £300 to Chatteris in Bloom and £100 to Chatteris Christmas Lights.
A further £140 was given to the lights fund from the sale of L & AE Munns and Son products at The Old Bakery.
Carl Harrison, chairman of Chatteris In Bloom said: “I’m thrilled with the donation. Thanks to the staff and customers of the tearoom for their efforts.
Reg Tibbitts, treasurer for Christmas Lights, said: “Thanks to the tearoom and also to George and Jane Munns for allowing their products to be sold in aid of the Christmas lights.”
