THE Fenland Scrapstore proved to be a massive hit with bargain hunters after more than 100 people flocked to the team’s latest event.
The hall at the Oasis Centre in Wisbech was bustling with activity as people rummaged through the tonnes of amazing materials on offer. Items for DIY and art projects, as well as general household items were all on sale with big bags of materials containing fabric off-cuts once again delighting the crowds.
Liam Thompson, a volunteer at the event on May 4, said: “It really was an amazing day and we even had lots of people queuing up well before we even opened.
“Events like these really show how much of a need there is for a resource like Fenland Scrapstore and I am really proud and lucky to be able to be a part of this.”
